Unemployment and JATC Updates
Have the unemployment rules changed?

If my company let’s me go do I sign the out of work list?
- That depends, if you are on standby with a company no need for a new dispatch unless Unemployement tells you that you need to put your name on the out of work list.
How is COVID 19 affecting the JATC?
- The training centers are closed for now and will re-open for classes until April 27, 2020. At that point they may conduct classes via video streaming.
General Updates
What is going to happen with the Union Meetings?
- The April Union Meetings are canceled, we will evaluate May as we get closer.
Is anybody looking out for the retirees?
- Each Business Rep and Organizer has a list of retirees to call to see if they need help in any way. Once we compile the list the SMART Army will seek volunteers to help with their needs as best we can.
